Tell me what it runs on.

Three questions, then whatever else you want to say. I read every one myself and reply in plain terms: whether I can help, roughly what it takes, and what I would do first. No sales call, no deck.

Silverlight, LightSwitch, Classic ASP, VB6, WinForms, Delphi, FoxPro, Access, SQL Server 7 — or something else. Guesses are fine.
In your words. "Runs the plant floor." "Prices bonds for the desk." "Every order goes through it."
This tells me how urgent it is and what has to be protected during a move.
Or message me on LinkedIn.

What happens next: I reply by email, usually the same or next working day, with a straight answer. If it is a fit, the first step is a short read of the code and database — a fixed, bounded piece of work that ends in a written account of what the system does and what a move would take. You keep that document whatever you decide.
