A fixed-income desk's daily trading tools rebuilt off forty hand-maintained files onto the Bloomberg feed, and a years-old display fault nobody could solve traced to the vendor's own software. Fourteen years on the desk.

The entire back-office estate for an investment business in seven countries, ten applications deployed so every launch is the current version, plus the operational system for gambling floors in three of them.
An investment business operated from offices in Spain, London, Florida, Canada, Los Angeles, Costa Rica and South Carolina and had no common back office: accounting, reporting, dashboards and communications were all local, so the group could not see itself as one business.
Around ten Windows applications, accounting, reporting, dashboards and a fully logged internal chat, deployed so that every launch pulls the current version with no installs to manage. Also the web reporting for the group's poker site, and the operational system for gambling floors in three countries, converting every local-currency figure at the rate for the day it was played so the group's numbers reconcile.
Designed, built and maintained the whole estate over eight years.
