Visio and PDF treatment pathways turned into a data-driven subscription site: merge patient details into the pathway and letter, charge per print via Authorize.Net, stamp every print with a serial number encoding account, user, pathway and print run.
What was wrong
A physician had spent years drawing graphical treatment pathways, one flowchart per work-injury diagnosis keyed to ICD-9 codes, covering every step a doctor must take and document to stay compliant and actually get paid. The intellectual property existed only as Visio drawings and PDFs, with no way to sell it that did not also give it away.
What I built
A subscription site where a doctor's office or insurance payer registers, searches for a pathway, enters patient details, and the system merges them into the pathway and the matching medical-director letter, charges the account per print, and prints the stamped result. Every printed pathway carries a serial number encoding account, user, pathway and print run, so a third party can verify that a copy in circulation is genuine.
What happened
Live and taking paying provider and payer accounts on schedule. I wrote the release policy the day customers arrived.
