PB Microsavings

A retail micro-savings platform on ASP.NET MVC and Azure SQL: member site, transaction clearing back end, per-retailer balances and reporting, and Ingenico PIN-pad integration, built from a specification I wrote first.

What was wrong

A shopper should be able to sign up at the PIN pad with a cell number and PIN, then at any till pay from the account, deposit change, withdraw, gift to another member or donate to charity. Balances had to be held per retailer, and the client's own specification was full of holes.

What I built

Wrote the functional specification the build ran on. Built the member site, the back end that authenticated members and cleared transactions, retailer reporting, and the PIN-pad integration.

What happened in production

The member site went live and the checkout-lane side reached demo. Found and removed a dummy account that could have been used to move money out.

Tell me what it does, what it is written in, and what breaks when it goes down. I will say plainly whether I can help and how I would approach it.
